Melbourne photographer and pilot Ric Wallis has created a stunning series of images during the flooding of Lake Eyre over the last few years. Flying his own Cesna150, often with the assistance of his ninety year old father George, Ric has created an extraordinary series of images that portray a painterly and abstract interpretation of the magical world below.

At first glance the large pigments prints might be interpreted as landscapes from distant planets or abstract paintings, however closer inspection slowly reveals hints that these images are indeed unadulterated views of a unique and real world on our back doorstep.

Each image is available in one of two sizes as limited edition archival pigment prints.
